Functional Fitness in southeast Austin, TX

Built in Austin. Built for You.

We started Norse Gyms because we believed Southeast Austin deserved a gym where the training is serious, the coaches are invested, and the community makes you want to come back every single day.

Meet Our Founders

Norse Gym was founded by Caroline Mahomar and Jon Kaufman with a shared vision: to build a space where people can truly transform.

Jon is a veteran and dedicated coach who believes strength is built through structure, accountability, and relentless consistency. Caroline is a multidisciplinary artist and creative director who knows that the spaces we train in shape how we feel, think, and grow. Together, they set out to create something South Austin had never seen: a gym where disciplined training and intentional design work side by side.

What started as an idea between an artist and a coach is becoming the Hall, an environment where strength is developed, connections are forged, and every person is challenged, supported, and inspired to become something greater. From the Viking-inspired training floor to the wood-fired sauna and the trails beyond, every detail is built with purpose.

And like any great saga, this is only the beginning.

Our Trainers

Our coaches bring discipline, experience, and a passion for helping every member build strength, confidence, and lasting results in the Hall.
